are open to the general public:
If you like classic cars and classic music then join us for the annual Mcquillen Car Show during the Dan Rice days in Girard (604 Main East). It’s usually the 1st Friday in August. There will be old Chevys, old Fords, Mustangs, Corvettes, convertibles, hard-tops and many more clean cars and tough trucks. You can meet the owners and swap restoration ideas. We’ll have food and souvenirs on hand, and you’ll have a chance at winning some door prizes if you register your vehicle. So bring your pride and joy, and the wife and kids!
 
If you love Halloween and the 80’s, then you will love this Awesome Thriller 80’s dance at Rainbow Gardens. When you get a large amount of people together that love Halloween and the 80’s the excitement and energy are something to see. Remember “You Spin Me Round (like a record)” by Dead or Alive, how about “Footloose” by Kenny Loggins? Well then, chances are you grew up in the 80’s my friend. It could also be that you just love the music from that era. Either way you’re going to have fun. Make sure you dress up, their will be prizes for the best Halloween costume. We will be playing “Thriller” by Michael Jackson at Midnight, the haunting hour! The crowd this year was bigger than the last, so get your tickets early, and come have fun with us.

Last year this event was sold out, so you had better call quick
to confirm reservations. We definitely had fun; this was my kind
of party. When the DJ has fun, so do you! Say goodbye to the old,
and hello to the new! We will be playing music from most eras.
Experience the lights and lasers as they bounce off your chest
and the chandeliers. There will be people of all ages there, so bring
your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your parents, or just come and
